Why do girls spend so much money on lingerie?

On one hand, I get that it’s really pretty and all, but honestly, nobody even sees it. Just for fun, I checked out a store’s website to see how much lingerie costs these days, and I was shocked at how expensive it is. Is that normal?

A lot depends on the brand. Sometimes, it’s not even about the quality or fabrics. Brands like Victoria's Secret have no problem selling super uncomfortable synthetic lingerie at ridiculous prices.

Oh, I stopped even looking at Victoria's Secret ages ago. There are so many cool brands now that I just don’t see the point in spending that much on such low-quality lingerie. As for why I spend that much in general... Well, I like having not just one special lingerie set for a special occasion, but beautiful and quality pieces for everyday wear. It’s about my comfort, my confidence, and I’m willing to pay more for that.
